Yesterday I had to remove and clean the carb on a '99 Warrior that I recently purchased. The plastic main jet baffle is missing. Does anyone know if/how this will affect the way it performs?

Does anyone know if the 8th digit in the VIN number for a 1994 Warrior is a common number/letter or not? The frame on the '94 I have has a small gouge at the 8th digit, and I can't tell exactly what number or letter is it. It kinda looks like a "0", but I'm not sure.
