have you recently taken the the clutch cover off?? it could be the part that sticks out of your case and might have the teeth misaligned to much one way?
dude i'd get that fixed.. if your chain come off and wraps around the front sproket say good by to your case.. a buddy of mine had this happen to his raptor. luckly tho it olny took off a chunk of the chain quard built into the motor and olny a little hole in the case.. i was luckly able the fix...
my oil cooler kit cost $26 (hayden cooler kit), $1.64 foot of cooler hose ( 4 feet) (kit comes with 4 feet of hose) and the barbed connectors ($2.50 each)... this is for the clutch cover method
did your bearings fall apart as you were trying to take them apart? sometimes when they are beat to hell they like to come apart and the outter ring of the bearing stays inside the carrier and it become a pain in the ass to get out. i had this problem before on the sproket side..
yeah i have seen that it is like the old warrior shock but is it going to make my ass end sit up high... on my raptor it is a piggyback rear shock and this one is a remote line w/e.. so it will bolt on and i just have to mounting the gas chamber to the frame. is this a decent shock?
i want to upgrade the shocks on my quad but i cant see dumping at least $500 into a rear shock on my raptor.. i seen people talking on here about the 660 shock working.. what mods would i have to do to get this to work.. and is it really worth it??? any help would be great....
thanks,
i have been looking into doing this and i know there is a section where it explains how to do this but i was wondering if anyone had pics of how they mounted the cooler on the quad(as most of the pics on those threads are not working)... hopefully someone has pics with it on a raptor.. thanks
yeah i know i missed but ive been really busy with finishing college up for the year and getting some ride time in before i go to a race... i havent rode my quad in like 6 months because of the electrical problem i had.. but no worries ill be at the next one... if not ill deff. be at beaten...
