Which way do you turn the idle mixture screw to richen the mixture? Is it an air bleed system where you turn in the screw or is it a fuel bleed system where you turn out the screw?
Well a long lever would give you more leverage and therefore an easier shift. The current lever is pretty short and doesn't give you much mechanical advantage.
I ride a lot of trails and get in some real tight stuff where I end up using reverse a lot. We all know that the reverse lever on the Warrior isn't the greatest. Are there any other YFM350 quads that have a better setup and could be made to work on the Warrior?
I took a look at the big bear...
Just a couple of pictures of the front frame from the side, top and an angle or two. It would be great if you could take the tank off. That way I could see all of the structure up front.
If you don't have a vibration problem in the handlebars then I agree that you should leave it alone. If I leave my upper motor mounts on then it is only a matter of time before they fail again from high cycle fatigue (trust me I do this for a living). Therefore, I figure its better to take them...
A year ago I rebuilt my motor and ever since I have had an annoying vibration in the handle above 5000 rpm. Today I decided to dig into the problem. I remembered that I had to replace two broken motor mounts that connected the head to the upper frame. Well, today I removed them and the...
Does anyone use a firefox throat mic with their walky talkies? I am considering getting a set for trial riding but I'd like to know what people think of them before spending $100.
Thanks in advance.
You absolutely need the flywheel puller. I had my machinist at work make one for me :)
Its not hard to tear it down if you stay organized. Take pictures, bag and tag everything. The transmission is the most complex part.
I don't know that I would suggest rebuilding a warrior engine...
I took a look at my old ones and they sure look like a high cycle fatigue failure (engineering speak for vibration problem). I am going take mine off and see if the vibration goes away. If it does I might fabricate a rubber upper mount.
I don't really want one. I am probably going to get a wolverine for a second quad for my wife. I have a buddy that wants to get a quad and he's looking at a warrior but he wants to get something with an auto clutch for the type of riding he does. They are constantly hopping downed trees and...
