    Simple Carb Idle Question

Which way do you turn the idle mixture screw to richen the mixture? Is it an air bleed system where you turn in the screw or is it a fuel bleed system where you turn out the screw?

    Jet kit for an 87?

Does anyone know where I can get a jet kit for an 87? Everything that I can find online is for 93 and newer. Thanks, Dave

Reverse Lever from other YFM350 ATVs?

Yeah I do that too. It certainly helps but I would still like to see if there is a better setup out there.

Reverse Lever from other YFM350 ATVs?

Well a long lever would give you more leverage and therefore an easier shift. The current lever is pretty short and doesn't give you much mechanical advantage.

Reverse Lever from other YFM350 ATVs?

I ride a lot of trails and get in some real tight stuff where I end up using reverse a lot. We all know that the reverse lever on the Warrior isn't the greatest. Are there any other YFM350 quads that have a better setup and could be made to work on the Warrior? I took a look at the big bear...

Broken head motor mount and frame vibration

Try taking them both off and run the engine. See if the handle bars still vibrate.

Broken head motor mount and frame vibration

Just a couple of pictures of the front frame from the side, top and an angle or two. It would be great if you could take the tank off. That way I could see all of the structure up front.

Broken head motor mount and frame vibration

If you don't have a vibration problem in the handlebars then I agree that you should leave it alone. If I leave my upper motor mounts on then it is only a matter of time before they fail again from high cycle fatigue (trust me I do this for a living). Therefore, I figure its better to take them...

Broken head motor mount and frame vibration

A year ago I rebuilt my motor and ever since I have had an annoying vibration in the handle above 5000 rpm. Today I decided to dig into the problem. I remembered that I had to replace two broken motor mounts that connected the head to the upper frame. Well, today I removed them and the...

    Firefox Throat mic

Thanks. We go on a lot of long rides where it would be really nice to talk without having to shut the engine off.

    Firefox Throat mic

Does anyone use a firefox throat mic with their walky talkies? I am considering getting a set for trial riding but I'd like to know what people think of them before spending $100. Thanks in advance.

    Motor tear down

You absolutely need the flywheel puller. I had my machinist at work make one for me :) Its not hard to tear it down if you stay organized. Take pictures, bag and tag everything. The transmission is the most complex part. I don't know that I would suggest rebuilding a warrior engine...

How many people have noticed broken engine mounts?

I took a look at my old ones and they sure look like a high cycle fatigue failure (engineering speak for vibration problem). I am going take mine off and see if the vibration goes away. If it does I might fabricate a rubber upper mount.

    Auto clutch for Warrior

I don't really want one. I am probably going to get a wolverine for a second quad for my wife. I have a buddy that wants to get a quad and he's looking at a warrior but he wants to get something with an auto clutch for the type of riding he does. They are constantly hopping downed trees and...

    Auto clutch for Warrior

I can't find a z-start clutch for a Warrior. I emailed the company to see if they make one. You're not kidding that they are expensive!
