Ok I'm putting on an z400 carb and i'm going to use an Uni filter straight off the carb... It's a 3" x4" long filter. Question is where I need to start the jetting??? I now have next to nothing on air flow restrection, even though the filter is small than stock.. Do I start at what my jetting...

Check those battery cables.. Sounds like when you put the clamps on the battery it makes the connection stronger.. Take the cables off and clean them and reconnect everything.. Just my 2 cents worth.. Cheap and easy to check..

Ok somewhere I seen that the warrior had a 5 speed transmission but yamaha says all warrior 350's are 6 speed... Are there any 5 speed warrior years???? Jerry

Well I don't have the money for a eldy carb so just looking for the best carb I can get for about $100.00. Looks like the z400 types would be the best. You have the round slide, flat side slides and the cv types which most newer atvs come with... I'm just looking for the best bang for my cheap...

Ok so nobodies really said if the old style supertrapp is ok compaired to the new style mufflers..... Supertrapp #027-0800 with 6 4" disks closed end cap... This style muffler has the stepped pipe from stock header.. The Dg mufflers have copied this style... Anyways is this any better or worse...
