Just wondering how common it is for the air cooled engines to overheat and shut off? Is that gonna happen just about every time I ride long?

The manual has it going from the solenoid straight to the battery everything is color coated and I even checked everything twice to make sure nothing was wrong. I sent the winch back and they are going to testing it.

Hey guys I'm new to the ultramatic transmission. For some reason when I have the pedal down and put into forward or reverse it tends to jump, but once it warms up after riding it seems to stop. Is this just because of higher rpm's and needs to warm up longer? Thanks
