    in need of a stator for a 98'

    i have a stator from an 02' and am having trouble figuring out how the wires go together with my 98' harness and im tired of the electrical crap. i just want to install the right one and get it running.

    every time i put my quad in reverse it shuts the engine off and its done it with both my engines. i was told by the local yamaha shop that theres no safety shut off or anything. ive checked to make sure no wires were cut and they are all ok so anyone with any ideas on what the problem may be or...
