Finally got a few minutes to check the valves and ended up finding a few things wrong. Exhaust valves were out of spec, got those reshimmed, front motor mount for the swap is cracked and has a ear broke off. Now to get some metal and rework this mount to keep it from cracking again.

When this one decides to let go, I think I'm going to go with a yfz or get a Hansen warrior round house swinger made for the carrier I have on the shelf.

Mine I kind of made it just follow the warrior front end, then cut the front back to allow more air flow to the oil cooler. It took me several changes with cardboard before I liked how it looked. The nice thing is, there is no right or wrong making your own scoop, it's what looks good to you.

Get some card board and start shaping until you find something that looks good to you. Then get some thin abs plastic, heat it up to the shape you picked and I used jb plastic weld to put mine on but you can use screws to rivets.

Here is an easy way to upgrade your steering stem to an anti vibe and add 1.5". I used an Alba Racing +2 stem for a banshee and there is very minimal modification needed to make it work. First you will need to cut the circled tabs off of the banshee stem. You are left with a stem that looks...

I will once it warms back up and I get it back together, have it torn apart to adjust that valves and figure out a better support for the carb.

Yes it does, I wanted it to appear as factory as possible.

And another video, was fighting the carb falling off the head this day so it wasn't running 100%. air filter mount was loose so it was walking off that way...

then we were off for the first start and some test and tuning. let me just say that this little thumper is a RIPPER!!!! and the first start start/ride...

Now that mock up is complete it was time for final install.

Finally the engine was all put together and it was time to finish mock up. Found out the DRD exhaust can was a little too long so chopped it down to make it fit.

After figuring out I cut too much out of the first swing arm I redid it again on another and this time it was a perfect fit. and boy did it look good in there. then i wanted an anti vibe stem, after hours of research and comparing stems i found that a banshee stem i could get to work...
