    Transmission Compatibility

Will a 2004 transmission gear set, shift forks and shift drum work on a 97 warrior? The head has 1UY03 on it.

    2nd and 3rd gear sputter

I don't understand what would cause the gear to dig into the case like it is.

    2nd and 3rd gear sputter

I was told it could be the shift cam and shift forks. Any other opinions? Does this sound like it could be the issue?

    2nd and 3rd gear sputter

Pat, There was no up and down play in the shaft. I was able to get the case split and took a video of what I found. I'm not sure if the person who put the atv back together before it was given to me forgot a washer somewhere but you can see how one of the gears was chewing away at the case...

    2002 Warrior 350 TRANNY PROBLEM

I think I'm dealing with the same issue. Here is a video of my problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewXUJWazDyg I'm in the process of splitting the case to see what is going on with the tranny. I'm finding all kinds of metal shavings. I'm thinking it has something to do with the dogs...

    2nd and 3rd gear sputter

Well it doesn't appear to be the shaft. All of the splines appear to be in good shape. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2nd and 3rd gear sputter

This is a video of what the atv is doing. The video starts off as I'm idling along in 2nd gear. It sounds like something internal is skipping and then will occasionally catch. 3rd gear does this as well. What do you think it is and how much do you think it would cost to repair this problem...

    2nd and 3rd gear sputter

Hello, I'm having an issue with my recently acquired Warrior 350. When I'm accelerating or riding around in first gear everything is fine but when I **** into 2nd gear and I'm under slight acceleration or even full throttle it seems as if the chain is skipping but it is not. It seems to be...

    Timing Chain Installation

Thanks for the feedback. I ordered the D.I.D timing chain and I'll make sure to use locktite where you said to.

    Timing Chain Installation

Thank you! Quick question. When I was at TDC, my cam sprocket looked to be able a half tooth to the right of where it was supposed to be. Do you think this is enough to warrant a new timing chain?

    Timing Chain Installation

I've read a few threads but just wanted to confirm that I can install a new timing chain by simply removing the stator cover and pulling the flywheel off. Then i loosen the cam chain tensioner and remove the timing chain. Is it possible to drop the chain down from the top or do I have to fish it...

1997 Warrior bored .030 over w\ Jetting Issues

Hey Guys, I bought this atv from my neighbor who said it was bored .030 over this winter but everything else was stock. He recently put the bike back together about two weeks ago. It idles great and runs smooth to around 1/8-1/4 throttle. If I ease into the throttle she will pick up speed but...
