If you wind the preload on all the way and it still sitting low then the springs are too soft.
Factory yamaha progressive springs tend to make the shock sag alot as soon as you put weight on it. The shocks are good shocks though so if you want to keep them i'd get some dual or tripple rate...
I have a 700r and as i'm sure everyone knows their quite tippy which is mostly a result of the standard springs being too soft.
The shocks themselves are amazing but the first mod id did on my 700r was get some dual rate springs to suit the quad and my weight and it was the best money i ever...
Hey so i've been doing alot of reading on cam's for these things and found that these engines have a 1.14 rocker ratio right?
So my question is this.
The stated lifts these cams are advertising is that the lift on the lobe or is that what you'll end up with after the rocker ratio has been added in?
Hey so after reading through some posts on here i got wondering has anyone ever tried to fit the yamaha big bear crank into their warrior/raptor engine?
Is there any reason this couldnt be done?
Would i perhaps need the barrel to go with it?
Does anyone know if the deck heights are the same?
