I agree it looks like you have a broken rocker arm , but I also noticed that your timing gear is not set to the line , you could be inbetween your cam lobes , make sure you have everything set to tdc and all your timing marks are inline then set your tappets clearances , you can pick up a feeler...

Thanks for the link . That sounds like exactly what happens to it. I'll try pressing the gear off and see what kind of damage has occurred to the shaft under the gear , maybe just maybe ill be able to save it , if not I guess eBay will be my next best bet .
