Adding an extra plate in the clutch pack

I finally got a chance to ride this set up and the clutch kept sticking so I removed the thin steel and it works good now. So for those of you wondering what to do; remove the two wave washers and add one thick steel clutch plate and it should work good.

Adding an extra plate in the clutch pack

Well when I did it, I pulled both wave washers and added a thick & a think steel. Since adding two thins would equal out the original thickness, I added a thick and a thin and I am .4mm (.015748 inch (1.5 thousandths) or just under 1/64th of an inch) thicker than the original clutch pack...

Adding an extra plate in the clutch pack

Add 2 Steels? Well I pulled it apart over the weekend and removed the 2 wave washer/plates. Both of these "wave washers" and they both measured 1.5mm to 1.53mm, which is the same thickness as the thin steel clutch plates (plate #10 int he fiche, PT#: 168-16325-00-00...

    Rear brake

Not leaking, not clogged just seems soft there is a lot of peddle travel. I've been looking at it and the pads don't seem too worn but there is about .2 inch of clearance before the pad starts to clamp the disk. I'm thinking this may be it, but not sure how thick new OEM pads are...

    timing chain adjustment?

You tell if it's "all the way out" By removing the 12mm bolt and spring then removing the cam chain tensioner (by removing the 2 -8mm bolts) and see if it's adjusted out all the way. If it is then it's time to replace the timing chain? Thanks

Pen spring and valve cap mod

Did the mod worked great. Wanted to add that small spring is located under the brass plunger and that the plunger should move up & down freely. If it does not move freely then work it back & forth through the hole until it loosens up then you should be good to go.
