I made a cardboard template to get the shape I wanted then transferred the measurements to the metal and bent it. Cross brace/bracket was kind of a pain, but mine is made from 1/2" flat aluminum bar stock. The scoops are sheet metal like they use on Late Model or IMCA modified race car bodies. I was lucky enough to have a source for some scrap in white.

Scoop should point the air toward the jug/cylinder head as much as possible.

I use the nut on the upper a arm rear arm mount it works perfectly

I realize this is an older post, but do you or anyone still fabricate air scoops and if so would be willing to make me a set, and give me a price shipped to 48050
