Well i think the time has come, my frame is cracked at the crossmember where the rear shock mounts and its not cracked at the welds, its cracked across the main tube, my dad just told me i think its time I spend my moldy money and buy a new quad lol, but I'm going to try to repair it to race again in july or take all the go fast parts off my warrior and put them on my dad's and maybe he will help me fund for a 450 but probably not he is cheap like me, or i will part my quad out but most of the parts on it are beat, or I'll take it apart and put it on the shelf for a rainy day and get a frame with a title and put it together but who knows

I will try to get pictures in the morning

Yea that sucks hammy. 2-300$ on a frame and all the work vs buying a new machine. You at the crossroad.

Yeah i know but since i want to start racing more i think im going to upgrade but I'm still going to have my dad warrior that he never rides so i can always go back to the good ol' warrior

Good news my dad said he's gonna weld the frame and gusset it to make it stronger and maybe where the warrior frames are known to break so the warrior will live to ride another day
But I'm still going to be getting a 450 as a race quad and use this as a beater quad for around my house and what not or i will give it back to my dad but it will live to see another day.

So me and my dad tore it down to bare frame this weekend
dce81c924786871a63746340cbb6c3e6.jpg

Then i took it over to my friends house and used his 3600 psi pressure washer to clean all the grime off of it

While i had it apart my new exhaust is already rusting!!!!!
So I figured i have almost 2 year in that exhaust i should repack it and what not
So i used a wire wheel and made a brushed look for the tip

My friend ran into the back of me and bent the tip a little and pushed my whole exhaust forward about an inch but didn't break the exhaust stuff off it just bent my header a little

I forgot to take pictures of the rust and prep but i took it down to bare metal with air tools lol then used sandpaper to make the metal rough

I forgot to include why my frame cracked I clipped a tree with my back tire in 5th gear I avoided the tree with my front tire but my back end slid out and hit it
