I just picked up a 2001 warrior has a new stator, has spark, I put a timing light on it and it fires on t not f and when put the timing marks up the cam its just a tad past the mark on the head is it one tooth off or something I don't want to tear it apart if I don't have to any pointers is appreciated
 
Is this timed right seems a little before

It will always sit that way back or forwards even if you skip a tooth mine looked the same when I put my new d.i.d. Cam chain in so I take it it is supposed to be that way.
 
Is that a new timing chain? It could be stretched. I'd get a new one if you haven't already
