my 2001 war has damaged right in front of front sprocket. has been rewelded by whoever owned it. I think im number4 for owners. I was on ebay and seemed like a lot of the motors had the same issue. is this normal? im new to these quads is why im asking wat seems to be like a silly question. thx in advance

As long as your not leaking oil you will be fine the reason it's like that is because the chain snapped and got wadded up in there and busted that part of the case off. If it's not leaking its fine

There's a part that prevents breaking the case like that. It's called a case saver. Look in the forsale section.
