I used an '08 YZ250F shifter, fit great, cleared the cover fine.

alright yeah looks like il order a yz 250 shifter today thanks! and yupp think im gonna go with fmf seems pretty good just the slip on tho dont need the header.
 
yeah there sure is ALOT of good info on this site for sure. and for the exhaust i made my final disision and thats yoshi they look sweet too haha
