Powder Pro Warrior build thread

still have to install sparkymichigan version of the powerbomb (have it blasted up just need to lay some high temp white powder on it... i think i may do my tail pipe/muffler as well... then the oil cooler mod... then ride! this winter ill do port and polish on the heads, new clutch, and powder the frame and install some stretched A-arms

had to install a new chain roller last night so i snapped a few pics as well

buddies where hating on my green skull shock covers hahaha so i popped the black ones from my sled on

and ran into a snag




This is by no means Sparkys fault at all... my warrior is a hybrid of a warrior and Raptor... i have a ton of time cleaning up the "mods" that where done to make this work... this falls into that bucket as well... Over sized nuts where used as spacers to line up the pipe...


so... i pulled the pipe. I am going to cut and weld in a 1.25" section of pipe before the clamp so that it will fit now, while it is off i am going to coat it in the high temp white as well to match the header


so i moved on to my idiot lights since i am no longer running a riser cover, $6 at radio shack and i now have a N and Rev light indicator

marked the pipe,


sliced it in 1/2, and Tim up in our shop welded it all up for me... test fit worked great, going to run it as is right now to get some temp readings off the mid pipe and muffler before i powder it to match the header... i am kind of thinking of wrapping the mid pipe as it is right next to the air box.

finally got her out to rip a bit... ran great! went though my first 2 tanks of gas... was a blast! did not take many pics but this is what i got

ya know i have no idea what bars/risers i went with... tomorrow i can dig a bit and see if i can track down where i ordered them from
