Got a 97 for $300. Guy said it don't start, the little bit ive gone through it I can tell pulse trigger is bad. But all in all not a bad deal. Has two sets of wheels/tires, am bumpers, aluminum skids, dg muffler/head pipe, k&n filter. I have blue and white plastics but they were off.

Well got a set of YFZ blue plastics for $30 local and since Im waiting on engine parts, I started hacking them up tonight. Rough now but just give me time to mess with brackets.

Threw on the new trigger and got a nice spark. Now waiting til Monday so i can go grab a carb rebuild kit.

Carbs on and now has spark. It wants to start but just won't. I get a couple of puffs but nothing. Already timed and did valve adjustment. Going to check compression tonight.

Compression good. But I did find im not getting spark again. Tested all wires coming from stator and all meter out correct. Tested coil and its good. No spark if I use the pull start or the electric. It makes no sense because it wanted to run and I know it fired a few times. Could CDI be fried

Well I know the pulser was bad cause it read 0 ohm and I replaced it with new. Its weird because I would crank it and every other min I could get a blurp and at one point it started for a second

No I haven't finished making the rear brackets. I've put all it off til I got the engine running, plus I had to do carb rebuild on my 91. Within the next week ill prob update with installed pics.
