Well plans have changed. I traded the warrior for a 1999 yz 125. The 125 needs a new top end but besides that it is in great condition. I might regret it but only time will tell.

Just got my HMF from ebay on Friday. Took 3 days to get it. I am very happy with the low end it gave me. Bike really picks up now and sounds awesome.

The pipe is really nice. I can easily pop a wheelie in first gear and I can also get it up in 2nd now. Before I had to put my foot on the 6 pack rack and have it timed just right while in first. It also sounds way better. Nice low mean growl. I think I just found my answer...

I recently did an airbox mod and added an HMF slip on to my 1999 Warrior. I jetted it with a 150 main at first but my plugs were black so I went back to the 145. This picture is after a good 1.5hrs of riding. The tip is brown but the rest is black. Is this acceptable? Kinda weird that I did not...

I have been messing around with my jetting after an airbox mod and exhaust and the pilot screw seems to be right at home a 2 turns out. It really never seemed to effect it whether I had it 2-3 turns out it ran the same. I would keep yours at stock and see how it runs like that.

Well, the plan is to get a steering stabilizer and some works shocks for the front. Hopefully these mods will smooth out the ride. I also think I just need to get used to it. Really, I was mainly just drained in my shoulders and arms after riding. I am sure once my strength gets better it won't...

I decided to give my warrior a 2nd chance and I have an HMF exhaust on the way. Hopefully this and some jetting keep me happy for a while.

Not sure on the bike yet. I started looking at the 125's (cr,kx,yz). The thing is I am limited to whatever I could sell my warrior for which is most likely $1500-$1600. Seems like I could find a decent used 2 stroke for that price.

I think I might just have to tough it out. The back of my arms are pretty sore but I bet I will be okay next weekend. I just can't go back to the narrower stance.

Will a steering stabilizer help this issue at all?

Yeah, I don't want any arguments here. My mainissue with my warrior is it really beat me up this weekend. But, after doing some reading I think a good steering stabilizer and some better front shocks would help. I guess I will put my warrior up for sale and go from there.

Hey guys, I flipped my wheels a couple of weeks ago and I love the stability. The problem is that its a bit hard to steer now. Anyone else have this problem? I figure I can get used to it or switch back the wheels. Any solution to this?

I am thinking about selling my wwarrior and getting something else. I have noticed that I could easily get a dirt bike for around $1500-$2000. Are these things as fun a an atv? Also what is the drawback to one of those 2 strokes? What should I look for?

I ended up having to remove the front banshee shocks. They were jsut too soft. If I was on a trail at an angle it felt like the bike wanted to pull downwards. It was just too much. I loved them on straightaways and over bumps, etc.. The rear shock still works great though.

Man! Airbox mod with a 150 main jet is a huge difference! I am pulling wheelies in second now with ease. It really changed the sound also. I t has this nice deep sound to it. I bet an exhaust will also be an awesome upgrade. No more fuel overflow either. Must have been something stuck.

Thanks. I did the airbox mod this morning and have yet to try it out. I am hoping it helps justify the 150 main jet. If not no biggie. I will get a 147.5 instead. My carb should be pretty clean. I have cleaned it twice in the past month. Something must have gotten dislodged and stuck the float...
