Alright next potential fix is a clutch safety wire I know that runs from the clutch perch, heard that when it's loose or disconnected the same issue could happen, other than that I could only assume it's a grounding issue or a transmission issue

alright i would first try disconnecting the wire from the reverse lever. that should determine if its an electrical issue

i have a good feeling a safety switch is in play here or maybe a loose ground or wire coming from the reverse lever, once its in reverse can you restart the machine and ride in reverse?

Couple questions does the machine lurch when you put it in gear, is it a sudden shutoff, does the reverse light come on.

Runs again, keeping price at 1800 if noone wants it i think ima fix it up and get ready for the build.

Edit: dropped to 1800, no longer runs as valves tightened up, going back up when i fix the issue

sounds like maybe a limiter incorrectly deleted, or valves are too loose.

with a 38 id believe you will want to jet up. Im not sure the calculations but i think if you tried 50 over stock and work down would be a safe margin.

Im honestly about ready to give up on this project and just wait till I get a job, everytime i try to get somewhere this bike just sets me back and lets me down. just got the cam in to realize it doesnt even fit. This is gonna be the last update for a while.

yeah my plan was to upgrade to yfz shocks and lose the shock relocater if possible. this of course would be down the line i just need to know if the widening kit is gonna break on me.
