missouritrailrider, The MSR should accept the shorty lever it's basically the same bolt up configuration. I have the standard length MSR grip levers and they are the same as the shorty mounting holes / cable slot.
Here's an MSR clutch shorty setup. Went with a motion pro cable as well, it's a little longer than stock. The stock cable had barely enough play left in it which I wasn't too comfortable with. Plan on going with some taller bars as well so the extra cable length will be handy ;)
Just finished rebuilding and jetting my carb, easily spent over a $100.00(everything new). Pretty certain it hadn't been done since it was new. Worth the effort, idles & blips perfectly now ;D Taking your time and making sure the float level is set right can make a big difference.
The nerf's were $250.00. I waited several months and looked at all the other types before buying and am very pleased with results.
All the parts bolted up fairly easily. Don't think you could expect to mount new stuff to an old bike that's been banged up / tweaked from hard riding without...
Was just looking at the Web cam site :) don't really have the cash to do a full blown upgrade now only working temp jobs. Was trying to avoid pulling head as well but looks like if your going to do it right.........
Anybody go with a hotter cam with no bore or stroke increase? Thinking while I have my bodywork off to drop a cam in. Have aftermarket pipe & filter now.
I'll email him, maybe go have a look as well about 30 min drive. Thinking even if there a little longer maybe could make em work in case I go with A-arms later :-/
Saw an ad on craigslist today for a set of front and rear Galfer plastic covered stainless Brake lines $50.00! They were for a yam 660 guy said he bought them never installed sold bike. Question is do you guys know if these will fit the warrior? Can't imagine there would be much difference...
