I'll here to to take a more friendly approach to this thread. Yes a 450 would a great idea, but then again if we ALL went and bought 450s there would be no use for this site, or all of "everybody's" vast knowledge of the warrior.......
Obviously your mom's never made you watch Bambi as a kid...
I'll be the first to inform you that this topic has been beat to death like a red-headed stepchild. Not gonna happen, no way no how. Better off fabbing some brackets and drop in a YFZ450.
Take your now apart motor to the dealer and ask them to zip it off. If you good, they might not charge you.. If they do, it should only be 10 to 15 bucks.
If you keep trying with the standard puller, you will damage your flywheel for sure....!
Glad you got rid of the Chev---ette....I guess your errectile disfunction cleared up...
Sorry dude, love the Benz, love the Lex, but the vette is for old men who can't get it up anymore....Penile replacement Therapy
DSW is right. I had first gone with the flushmount valves, but you had take the wheels off to check your pressures, and fighting with those little caps was not high on my list of fun things to do.
Switched to the redrilled method as above, much better!
Now you need to accessorize: things like a chain drive wallet, leather vest that's 3 sizes too small, those jeans are way too clean, and you can stop showering and grooming now......(kidding, Dave, just kidding)
Is your K&N a drop in or the clamp on type? if it's the drop in one, you can cut the lid of your airbox to allow more air in. When you say "cheap" what do you mean? Cause to me 150 bucks on a new Wiseco 10.25:1 with a bore and hone was a "cheap" mod that made a nice difference....
It's a new flywheel key with a 2 to 3 degree offset which advances your timing. If you're on a stock cam i wouldn't bother with it. Dave and Jason have done EXTENSIVE testing with cams and advance, one of them will post up i'm sure.
