I hve the same sort of problem. The top end 5th gear is almost the exact same as 6th so I think I will upgrade to a 14t sometime soon
Just to let you guys know that think there is a 6th gear, there isnt 1-5 + Reverse = 6 Speed
Check your sparkplug and clean it no matter what it looks like, I had the same problem on my 660, run wide open, as soon as you pull clutch in it would stall out, I took plug out and wire brushed it, blowed it off with air hose, and put it back in and no problems now :)
You can get YFZ450 shocks for about 100 shipped, check out www.raptorforums.com/index.php alot of them do it to the 660s, if you want to do it to Warrior/Raptor, your going to need extended a-arms, or if you dont jump alot you could get suspension lowering kits for the front end and use yfz450...
I believe you will get that much out of it with a jet kit, but it doesnt have to cost $75, I have heard that Yamaha jets there engines lean out of the factory, jetting it right could give you that power increase
