Just hook the jumpers to pos an neg terminals on the battery... also once the starter button is depressed you should have 12 volts at the starter where the wire bolts on... if u have no power there with button pushed in pry means a bad starter solenoid ... now if you do have power at the starter...
They have a small trail network on their property...but it don't take much to end up in state forest.. im pretty sure at one point we were several miles into the forest but didn't encounter any trouble..they tell you at the front desk that your at your own risk if you venture off their...
Me and some friends hit up Paradise Lakes Campground in Hammonton , NJ .. It was pretty cool and they were really quad friendly ....Overall they had A decent amount of trails but we kept finding ourselves coming back to this sweet little dirt bowl right in the back of the campground...
Have you tried starting it again since? It could of overheated...that would shut it down..but it should start again after it cools... if thats not the case you gotta check the basics...fuel..air ..spark and compression
The one on the swing arm is ok ..the other end should be hooked to the carb..its spose to just chill there .. the other hose goes to battery to vent the fumes out from under the seat ..
Im in the same boat.. could not find extended arms for my 87 so i went the way of the solid aluminum spacers ... They make the bike more stable and it handles better .. have yet to have any issues with tie rods or anything else really ... they pry been on a year an a half.. i still want to find...
Get waterproof sandpaper and wet sand the **** out of them... i had the hose up on my deck showering down on the plastics as i was sanding them on saw horses.. it comes up so nice its ridiculous .. i could see myself in them ..
My 87 did same thing ... if it pop starts chances are its one of the pickup coils...i just replaced the whole stator and it gave her new life all around
