Death, how much for one of your shifters? 55 seems kinda steep for those other ones.

White smoke usually indicates water. If your rings or piston were damaged, and oil was burning, I think you'd have blue smoke. Definately look into the motor though, you have done some damage.

It may look like it's mint, but it needs some TLC. Need to get rid of the rust on the frame, replace some bushings and bearings, freshen the motor up some, and clean up the plastics. I've got high hopes for it, and will do stuff as money comes along. I would like to have it done by spring...

I can just have it, yes, but the wheeler won't be back together for a couple of months. If the shift shaft is the same, I'll take it, but if it won't work, then I'll let him sell it. I don't have the motor here, it's at my house. Haven't been home in some time, and won't make it anytime soon...

I am looking for a no link shifter, and was told that the YFZ shifter will work. I know the 400EX one will work after being shortened. My buddy has an extra shifter off his YFZ that I could have, so if it will work, it would help greatly. Thanks in advance.

Yes, they are Blackwaters. They suck at everything except going through mud/snow, which this one doesn't do much of. Plans are for some Klaw's or Holeshot's come next spring.

I've got an FMF Megamax that I'd like to trade for a used HMF. I just don't like the tuneable type silencer. It's in good condition, the decal was accidently blown off with a pressure washer. It comes with 8 discs I believe, all mounting hardware, and a quiet core. Let me know if anyone is...

Head to the local hardware store, and pick up 6 10-24 Allen head bolts about 1 1/2 inches long. That length will allow you run about 10 discs.

The 660 shocks are 3/4 inch longer, that's it. I've had mine off both of the machines, and measured them. I say go for, that little bit of length isn't gonna matter much. And the balljoint argument is win/lose type of thing. One guy says they work fine without weakening them, while another...

I know how you feel, I have size 14's. Anyways, I was told that a 400ex shifter will work on these machines, but that the reach would be longer than the stock one. Maybe this is what you need?

What kind of tires are you running? Bias ply? I know my 660 topped out is smooth as silk, but it has radial tires. My Warrior is smooth as silk with those same tires, even topped out, but shakes pretty good with the bias ply stockers.

Just checked, re-routed one hose that looked out of place, can't tell if it made any difference.

Yeah, I am very aware of that problem with these, first thing I checked out. I can now get it run WOT for a couple of seconds, but after that it won't run for diddly. Keeps popping like its lean, but I have huge puffs of black smoke when it comes back to life.

My Warrior has been cutting out more often, as it warms up. In gear, out of gear, just sitting there or going down the trail. The plugs have been nice tan color, so I have to believe the mixture is right. The way it runs, I think it would be electrical. Can't really explain it that well...
