So surprisingly I still have the warrior and it's been a decent machine. Always starts great and runs out fantastic. Tranny slips a little sometime and I should really get rid of that crappy linkage shifter but other than that it's been good! It does not beat a stock 400 ex like everyone said...

Ya we have a pretty sweet 1978 Suzuki JR 50. Two stroke, 5 speed manual with clutch! It's pretty darn fast! My brother got it for free and it runs like brand new! Pics tomorrow!

Yea I try to buy ALL OEM parts unless they are just for looks.

Well, my parts came in really fast from babbits, so I got the new clutch cable on and I still gotta get to the top engine mounts. The clutch is SOO smooth on it! I also got all four tires the same pressure that I wanted so no more side tracking and repainted the front a-arms so they don't look...

Only time will tell if I like the warrior as much or better than a 400ex. We owned 3 400ex's over last year and I love them! They are light, powerful, dead reliable, and fit me better. But, I'm not gonna say anything until I actually get my parts for my warrior and get to ride it!

Once my quad is done, I'll race my friend on his 03 400EX. Both are pretty much stock machines so we will see. My bet is on the 400ex.

I would take a 400ex anyday over my warrior. We've had 3 and so far I kinda like the warrior but stock they are too skinny and they don't have the pull like a 400ex. We shall see though.

Well I took a closer look at my new to me warrior today and found the two top engine mounts to be broken. Already got new ones ordered along with a clutch cable. I'm thinking of repainting the frame, and getting new brake pads, along with some other things like maybe some new front end bushings...
