So I just bought me a first gen warrior for a whopping $250. I knew it had an oil leak but I was hoping that it was just a gasket. Well it turns out that it was a cracked head so I decided that I'm gonna fix it up and ride the hell out of it.

I was a little late taking pictures but here's what I've got so far. Take notice of the damage to the head cause by a broken intake spring. The cam was flattened from the spring being caught in there.

So hopefully I'll be getting a new head so and I'll port it and have it running again soon

Good luck on the build man. Look forward to seeing the work. I use photobucket to post pics in here. You can post as many as you like & we can see them better

What does it say on that cam??? It looks aftermarket. Which would explain the broken valve springs if someone didn't install better springs to handle the cam. Does not look stock that's for sure.

I am not to sure what it says. I'll go to the shop once I get off work and find out.

I posted all that on my phone. I wasn't sure if I could use photobucket through my phone or not.

On the cam it says 252x1 11.94

It's been a while since I've updated this but I finally got a head. Took the valves out and ported it and lapped the valves last night. Waiting on my gasket kit and that's about all that I have left before I can out the head back on. I'll try and get some pictures on tonight if I get a chance.
