The Raptor is GONE, and so is my sanity...I've lost it...no 450, got another banshee....the following story will tell why. I don't even feel like talking...i'm going to be spending a lot of money in the near future.

As a refresher, this is what is gone.

The guy with the 450 sold it out from underneath me, no big deal, I wasnt upset...an hour later got a text...dude had a Banshee 421,4mil crank, and hot cams..?? whats wrong with that you say?

1.)2 strokes dont have cams

SOOOOOO....I take my banshee I just traded for that I knew didnt have cams (lol), knew it wasnt a 421, and found out it wasnt a 4mil ,out to do a little test ride. (It does have K-T engraved on the cylinders, it is drag ported very nicely, 17cc domes, Vforce reeds, big mikuni carbs, K-T head, CPI inframes, yadda yadda...all that ****

This is what it looked like when it arrived

I wasnt happy with the looks of this ragged bitch so I changed it up, had some banshee plastics laying around.

:argh:

so your ring broke the piston and dug into the wall of the cylinder and all the shavings went into the combustion chamber and fucked it all up? damn that sucks
upgrade to forged pistons dammit!

The damage was done before I bought it...I just happened to finish it off....cranks bad, 17cc domes and 93 pump gas and octane boost doesnt work, and that would have been awesome information to have before I ran it...oh well..

saving my pennies now, this will be a long build....421 CUB, 4mil crank,ported...lots of ****

Funny you say that, my hearing is not that good, plus a helmet...i cant hear ****

Wouldnt have mattered anyway....damage was done before I bought it...

Im in the process of cutting the frame up now...going to be ultra light!

I cant tell you how many hours I have in cutting, grinding, and buffing on this frame. It has lost a TON of weight though, and should make for a fast drag bike. Its at my sandblaster's shop now getting blasted, should be priming and painting this weekend...im just ready to start bolting on CHROME!!!

So far I have the chrome 10+ swingarm, chrome steering stem, chrome stock a-arms, and chrome spindles...sending my hubs off to wheelman chassis to be lightened (drilling the centers out and turning the rotor mounting lugs off, then Ill blast them and polish them!

I cut all the useless tubing and brackets I dont need on a drag bike...
-front brake line tabs
-front brake line upper mount
-air box tabs
-lots of gussets
-lower frame web (replaced with tubing)
-front bumper web brace (replaced with tubing)
-front motor mount tubes
-pipe mounts
-plus countless other little pieces, then I smoothed up all of the welds
my blaster charges $20 and we drink beer while we do it...LOL
