Quick background...

Got a call, good friend of mine said, "I have a Warrior that wont spark, $500, and it comes with a parts bike"

So...I go rescue this thing, stator cover off, no rear wheels, with a new FMF powercore pipe.

The night we got home:

I spend countless hours of OHM'ing, testing, looking, thinking, cursing. Everything checked out FINE! Pull back some looming,to discover some genius had the pick-up and source coil pigtails soldered on backwards....good idea, poor execution....im stupid for not catching it sooner...

POS was good lol:

Then I loaded up with a friend and smoked his Banshee on my Predaturd 500 for the evening

Carb was cleaned with eagle one aluminum wash and B12.

Top cover was rusted, so it was prepared & sprayed with VHT plate finish!

Intro:

It was my first weekend off work in some time, in the back of the burban t'was parts of all kinds. Piston with rings, gaskets and things, and right about now is the time I say F all that rhyming **** and get down to business:slayer:

I climbed in this bad boy, stood in the rain in 20 degree weather and picked up my son from school, and went to pick up the parts for the warrior motor.

Me and the boy get out in the garage and it was COLD, so he hop in the burban and run to the store and pick up one of these biotches on sale! With 6 cans of propane!

I was then warm in my garage and went for a walk to cool off a little

Now that I was in a comfortable environment I could do some work.
So I start unpacking parts (any mess in my garage is a product of my madness and should be ignored)

pulled all this crap off, to put in the new chain thing that drives the thing that opens the valve things....it was pretty clean in here.

Got this thing out of its box. I've run every piston in the book CP,Wiseco,JE,and Namura....never had an ounce of trouble out of any so I saved a dollar and went with another Namura. Bored .050, and also got the full Namura gasket kit.

Took a break from the motor to gain my strength to wrestle the beast back into its cage. So I decided to mount my Renthal bars.

Wait thats not right, :loco:

(I actually mounted them like this to polish em up!)

Here we go...

Went throw back on the grips and got some FMF 909 grips.

Got the Warrior ALMOST complete and had to take a break. This time, to load up and make a road trip to pick up a steal of a deal on a new toy for my son.
