well figured i would start a build log now that i am starting to build/upgrade.
when i first got it.

Looks real good for an 87, Those rear plastics look almost brand new in the second pic. I really like the red hubs with black rims
 
thanks guys for all the compliments. hope to get it back together running again soon.

some goodies. (wiseco 84mm 10.25:1 top end, oil cooler, timing chain, dg slip on, and flywheel puller.

You will love the dg I'm running the o series on my bike but no doubt your bike will be sleek when it's complete
 
pay attention to that steel DG my buddy bought the same one for his 94 and after 3 rides the spark arrestor and insides blew right out
you should have gotten the DG O series for $188 instead the steel DG's are crap imo
 
yeah i thought about getting the "o series" but really like the black color scheme on the on i got cause it went with the black and red theme im going for. hopefully mine holds up, i rode it a little with it before i starting taking it apart.
 
can someone move this to the build section for me dont know to or if i even can. THANKS!!
 
I have an "O" series and love it. My bud has the steel unit and it performs well. However, it will rust FAST!
