87 rebirth

Might as well make a build thread for my 87. Im sure it will change soon seeing how i got my 96 (swamp thing's) frame back. Heres some pics i took of the old hag rebirth....

I tried to bottom the shocks out but i couldnt do it by my self haha but you get the idea.

Tires had no air in them, thats why it look like its leaning

I did get to ride it for about 15 min yesterday before it got dark and man it handles awesome. The arms are longer than my ASR's so the shocks are a lil soft. I gotta put more air in them and it should be ok. It handles reall good, doesnt have to much bump steer. I do need to lay the spindles back a bit more thou. The swing arm worked great too. No chain bind or nothing! Also with these tires the rear end will NOT slide at all! Its like its on a rail. Im working on the stocker headlights now so it'll look even better once i get done with that.

So, you got enough parts I spy swampthings frame......no so green anymore? Its it transitioning to The Creature from the Black Lagoon? Hahahah, thats to long, swampthing is sticking.

Looks good man, now you just need to get it some of its own parts instead of swamp things!!! LOL

looks good man so is the 366 staying in it? if so whats going in swampthing?

Thanks guys i will eventually PC the arms but i wanted to test them hard first, just incase i need to gusset them more. Yes i did steal alot of swamp things parts lol but the swamper will get them back. I just wanted this to ride now to test the arms and what not. The 366 will go back to its original owner soon.

The swing arms Im pretty confident but the a arms worry me. Not that i dont trust my work but i know for a fact the swing arm is built like a tank with all the gussets, but the arms really cant have alot of gussets, so we'll see on them

my buddy has an 88 or an 89 warrior i tell ya them older warior look pretty good,looks like you done a great job on your 87.
