i've been waitin for something like to pop up in a mag for mad long. SWEET find. i write emails to DW telling them to do throwback articles like this but i never get a response. haters haha

i know i would love that to after all the builds on the 400ex and 450s a warrior build would be cool.

look in the gone but not forgotten section on here... i thought i recognized the seat on the warrior in the 2nd mag listing it looks like the seat on bad04warrior's quad.... did it start out from the mag?????????????????

on that site that deadlast listed i saw this .... 490cc piston, sleeve cylinder gasket and stroker crank for $1075 I thought you could only go to a 446??

Well he sucks! And boring it out that much would make the cylinder wall almost paper thin wouldn't it?

Oh ya because i saw a piston for a warrior that was a 400cc with stock bore.

Part of the 500cc kit is actually replacing the stock jug with one from a big bear 400, same engine design with bigger bore. It's still possible to put your own 500 kit together doing that, but FST stopped making them because it was only another 3 or 4 hp gain and it wasn't worth the extra cost.

according to the specs I've found both the warrior and big bear 400 have an 83mm bore. Just the big bear 400 has a longer stroke than the warrior.

if they have the same bore, maybe there is more room then the stock war jug to take the bore out past what the stock one can handle? I dunno, just my guess as to why they would do the switch.
