I have an 01 warrior, and sunday i went and did some riding, it was really wet...

Than 15 min after, my neutral light was acting up and it wouldnt start..

now today... i tried to start it, and when i push the button down... half the time it starts, and the other half of the time it does nothing...

the battery terminals are tight....

Thanks in advance

are you pulling in the clutch before you press the button? If you weren't pulling it in then try that. If it works right when the clutch is pulled in but when the clutch is out it acts up then your problem is probably that you got mud and water in the neutral sensor connector(on the case by the shifter lever) Pull the connector off the sensor, and clean everything off good and try it again.

I'm not sure what the problem would be then, but I would start by taking the switch assembly on the handlebars apart and clean the contacts on the kill switch, and see if water got in the assembly to possibly mess up the starter button
