Front wheel bearing question!

Hi,

I have to change my front wheel bearings. Both of them, the inner and the outter. I did not remove them for now and that's why I need your help.

I know that one of the bearing is a 6004, anybody know which model is the other? Dont' give me the yamaha part number, that's not what I need.

front axle bearings? I didnt know we had front axles.

You have front hub wheel bearings and you have two front spindles that look like mini axles - these hubs rest upon them.

Why not just buy a front wheel bearing kit out of dennis kirk or rockymountain

Well, I can get them almost at the cost price from a local shop that I do business with for the company I work...

then take one side apart and take the bearing carcass with you... match it up inner dia, outer dia..width of race....

If I knew the numbers i'd tell ya, but thats what I did....took old bearings to machine shop...
$3.00 per bearing- about 15 bucks for parts that would be double through yam.
