Started my Warrior and went for a short ride then turned it off for a short period. When I went to start it again it would not start.
It seams the starter is turning but not catching the gear to turn the motor over.
Im not getting the clicking at the solinoid that would indicate a weak battery.
Is my starter shot ?, any one have any ideas :-/

thanks

mine did that too, i think it is one of tw things, eithere it isnt pushing the startier gear thing out to catch the flywheel, or mud or water got in there and it is making it do that.Mine did that about 3 times 2 days ago, and now it is starting fine, every time

I've had that problem a couple of times, along with a strange sound coming from the starter. I've done quite a bit of research and found it to be more than likely grime in the starter on the flaps or possibly the valves if your quad is pretty old/quite a few miles. The solution to the grime would be to use contact cleaner to thoroughly clean and rebuild the starter, that will have it running like new again.
