whats with the karma??

i am new hear and was wondering wht and how and the purpose of that is...aslo how do you get stars?? like to not become a nube

Karma is just a way for members to rate other members. It's just basically an indication of how many people you've helped/pissed off. Exalt incrases it (good), smite decreases it (not good). It really has no affect on anything though, it just sits there and stares at ya like an idiot.

The stars will increase as your post count increases. You'll drop your newb status and gain another star when you reach 50 posts, again at 100, and it goes on from there. I think there's another at 400 and then at 1000, or something like that. Mods/admins automatically get 5 blue stars, because we're just good like that.
