i have searched and searched and can't find the thread that shows where someone painted their brake resy cover black and then polished it so it had black letters..

A d.a. with a medium grit should handle that one quite easily

That was done by hand working from 600 grit up to 2,000 then buffed by hand with some mother's polish.

what kind of paint did u use and where did u get it?... did that used to be the stock ugly grey thing? If so thats fricken sweet i wanna do it to mine too.

I used metal paint from a craft store.

Mine was black stock, so i sanded it down with 220, then simply got the buffing wheel and went to town.
